Balochistan: Amidst grief and sorrow, the Baloch nationalist ideologue, Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri was laid to rest in Quetta on Thursday, 12 June 2014
Earlier, the body of Nawab Marri was brought to Hockey Stadium Quetta from Karachi for funeral prayers, and then was scheduled to be flown to Kahan by army helicopter for burial.
However, Baloch political activists opposed Pakistani states funeral arrangement. Thousands of Baloch nationalist workers and the true heirs of Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri’s ideology under the leadership of BSO Azad freed his body from Pakistani establishment and ISI puppet Nawabzada Changez Khan Marri and took control of the funeral procession.
The daughters of Baloch Nation, covered the coffin of the Great leader with the flag of Balochistan, took the coffin on their own shoulders and started walking towards the Martyr’s graveyard in New Kahan.
Nemaz-E-Janza (funeral pray) of Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri was performed in New Kahan and was laid to rest among the fallen heroes of Baloch national liberation struggle at Baloch Martyr’s graveyard.
